Drasten The Dungeonmaster
Current Character Name: All of the NPCs
How did you first get introduced to Tabletop RPGs: I was about 12 years old the first time a friend of mine introduced me to the game. I was instantly fascinated by a world that existed in your mind. After hiding it for years (Satanic Panic), I was able to start playing again in about 2017, when I took on the mantle of Dungeon Master.
Favorite Character that you have played: Of playable characters, my favorite was probably Sclav (Steve). He was a Warlock with a split personality and was quite devious. My Dungeon Master at the time (Mike), allowed me to go all in with this character, and it was so enjoyable.
Favorite DND Class/ Build: I love charismatic characters: I'm a sucker for the Warlock. Spell casters with daddy/mommy issues that have other hidden tasks, sign me up!
What is one character that I have never played but would love to: As the Dungeon Master, I get to play all sorts, the world is my playground. But for our in persons, I get to flex some strange concepts. I love taking an idea from a movie and show and making it my own.
Other RPGs that you have played: Star Wars The Roleplaying Game, countless video game RPGs.
Why I love being a member of 7D: I LOVE telling a story. I love building a world that invokes emotion good and bad. I have the best group of friends that are my players and it makes the experience top tier.
Favorite Character Moment from current campaign: Anything with Colton Frost as the Antagonist, but probably when Oz swore himself over to Colton to help the party.
Favorite thing about DM? That guy sucks, and for some reason loves digital dice.
Other hobbies: 3D Printing, Gaming, Brewing, really everything.
Favorite Movies: Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Secondhand Lions, Braveheart. I love most movies, this one is tough.
Favorite books and comics: Game of Thrones, Star Wars Novels, DUNE
Favorite Music: This is tough because I'm a very mood based music person. I love Vietnam era music like CCR, and others, but I'm also a Metalhead enjoying bands like Arch Enemy, and Mudvayne. I grew up loving the emotion of Orchestral music.
Final thoughts that you want to share with our viewers: I want the viewers to enjoy the story. The high's and low's of the campaign. I want them to laugh, and cry with the players and walk away like they do from a great movie in a theater.

Michael

Current Character Name: Bishop
How did you get into tabletop RPG's: My first experience with TRPG's was when I was 8. I had a neighbor who DM'd and would have some of us over to run scenarios of his campaigns with us. I later started buying 2nd edition books and found a group to run with for a while.
Favorite character I have played.: I had a Rogue at one point whose dream was to join the local Thieves Guild and after wearing down the DM I had at the time made a gauntlet of traps for me to test my skills. Good news was that they let me into the Guild, Bad news... I set off every trap he had placed and the only reason he let me join was because I survived.
Favorite D&D class/Build: Honestly? Now that they have fixed the Monk class I am enjoying it immensely, I wish they would do the same for the Ranger because I've always had a fondness for them as well.
Other RPG's that I have played: I have played Star Wars RPG, Shadowrun RPG, multiple video game RPG's
Why do I love being a member of the 7D: It is nice having a group that has lasted this long, it is very hard to keep a group together. I like that we can share our love for D&D with those who have never played before and with those that have returned. I get to share my creativity with my artwork, though slow going sometimes, still is fun.
Favorite character moment from the current campaign: I would like to think that every time Bishop tries to make a joke the group looks at him with disbelief because they don't know what he's doing.
Favorite thing about the DM: I love that he is willing to discuss ideas, he is not all about the rules and looks at things with an open mind.
Other Hobbies: I draw, read books and comics, collect action figures, play video games, watch movies. I guess I can throw play with my kid in here as well LOL
Favorite Movies: There is not enough time for me to mention the number of movies I consider favorite.
Favorite Books or Comics: I am a huge Spider-Man fanatic. I have also started going through the Reacher set of books. Anything Horror related.
Favorite Music: I love anything Big Band, I am mostly into Grunge now, Green Day, Blink 182. I also listen to bands like Tool, Evanescence, Offspring.
Final Thoughts: I am glad that we get to share our joy of D&D with others, Story, laughs, pains, some of us really get into our characters and the fact that our followers can share in that is an amazing feeling.
Jeremy
Current Character Name: Gwyntyn Stoutale
How did you first get introduced to Tabletop RPGs: I have known about DnD and Pathfinder for a while but till I joined 7D I never really had a chance to play. I think my first real DnD experience was near the beginning of campaign 1 where I played a half-elf bard for a few sessions before my work schedule got changed and I was unable to play Mondays.
Favorite Character that you have played: I have only played a hand full of characters for the one-shot we run and then our Campaign. And to be honest, I don’t remember most of the one-shot characters besides my Ranger Tortle that I had great luck snipping enemies with due to weirdly high rolls.
Favorite DND Class/ Build: Pending on what I feel like doing either fighter or healer, mostly because I only have to do 1 of 2 things. Swing a weapon or cast a healing spell.
What is one character that I have never played but would love to: I don’t think I have played a barbarian so I wouldn’t mind giving that a shot. If I have it must not have been memorable.
Other RPGs that you have played: Fallout series, Monster Hunter series starting at PSP. Witcher 3 recently. Kind of a long list as I mostly play RPG based games.
Why I love being a member of 7D: Honestly, I just love getting to play DnD with friends on a consistent basis. And shot out to Drasten for making the story great, even if we always feel we are on a loud ticking clock.
Favorite Character Moment from current campaign: Marzlyn was telling the group about how he hasn’t heard from his parents since his home was destroyed and Gwyntyn just looks at him and asks why he hasn’t called them with sending.
Favorite thing about DM: He always tries to be fair in judgements for in game effects of spells or abilities or the off the wall ideas someone may have.
Other hobbies: 3D Printing, Gaming, Wine Making, Board games, and Ren Faires.
Favorite Movies: I tend to watch everything, and often rewatch movies. This is a horrible question for me since I spend probably 8 hours a day watching movies, or tv shows/anime.
Favorite books and comics: I mostly listen to books, but my top ones are Jurassic Park, Harry potter and the first like 5 Witcher books (in reading order)
Favorite Music: I literally have the type of playlist where there is no guarantee what the next song genre may be.
Final thoughts that you want to share with our viewers: Please enjoy the story and all the bad dice rolls we have! And if you want to play or have questions our discord is always open!

James
How did you first get introduced to Tabletop RPGs: Some friends I had been playing the video game ARK with decided to try this thing called “D&D”, which I knew nothing about and movies had taught me was super lame. Lame enough that I’m still playing 6 years later
Favorite Character that you have played: Bryen Mapulheart. He had it where it mattered, but boy did he not have much of it. Centaur ranger, who’s ranged weapon was a short sword, and was so bad at magic that he actually hurt his allies when he tried to heal them.
Favorite D&D Class/ Build: Anything playful and mischievous. I really enjoy that RP that you can get yourself in to when you push the boundaries a bit and cause some dominoes to fall. Like poking yourself with the tooth of an ancient black dragon.
What is one character that I have never played but would love to: I’ve never played a Paladin! For no particular reason, but they are often considered one of the stronger classes to build on. I just haven’t figured out the right build yet
Other RPGs that you have played: Some TTRPGs like All out of Bubblegum, Mothership, and short home brewed one-shot intros, as well as Baldur's Gate, Skyrim and The Elder Scrolls Online
Why I love being a member of 7D: It’s a great group of friends, who all set aside their Monday to play DnD. Nearly 250 sessions is such an accomplishment when many campaigns struggle to string together 12 in a year. On top of that everyone get so in to the story that the highs feel special and the lows feel devastating
Favorite Character Moment from current campaign: The reveal of Drisella as Pora. Marzlin has been infatuated with the academy for the entire time he’s been in Candor’s keep, with others such as Justinian being uncertain of their true motives. This was a huge moment that not only vindicated Justinian in his concerns, but also showed that Marzlin was right in trusting the Academy all along.
Favorite thing about DM? He puts so much thought into building an immersive world… you can interact with any NPC and they will have a personality and story. Nothing is black and white or railroaded,
Other hobbies: Tooooo many…. Hiking, backpacking, photography, climbing, canoeing, paddle boarding, biking, video games, board games, drawing to name a few
Favorite Movies: 10 Cloverfield Lane, Interstellar, Catch Me If You Can
Favorite books and comics: The Snowman, The Stormlight Archives, How to Build A Car
Favorite Music: Most anything, seriously, from country to metal, EDM to folk, I just enjoy music. Current favorite artists include Mt Joy, Quinn XCII, and Nathan Evans
Final thoughts that you want to share with our viewers: Say the weird thing, commit to the bit, and remember to have fun

Chris
How did you first get introduced to Tabletop RPGs: A few good friends from work and I decided to get together and see what this whole D&D thing was about. I love acting, I love RPG’s. It seemed like an easy decision.
Favorite Character that you have played: A Yuan-Ti Bard hell bent on restoring the Yuan-Ti empire to it’s former days of glory. He is still currently floating in space on a rocket powered empty library in the shape of a tower. The character melded well with another PC who was a Half-Giant Barbarian (Mike)
Favorite DND Class/ Build: Bard, hands down. They are great for RP and dominate on the battlefield. Second would be an Artificer….Creativity has no bounds with this class.
What is one character that I have never played but would love to: Ninja. Nothing beats a good ninja RP. You can be bold, or you can be secretive. Either way it would be a fantastic build to play.
Other RPGs that you have played: Final Fantasy (All) it is the end all for fantasy RPG. Different universes with just enough commonality to be comfortable starting anew.
Why I love being a member of 7D: First and foremost, I love hanging with my friends. Secondly I love RP. I can put together a background and watch Drasten perform his magic over the corresponding years melding into the world he has created.
Favorite Character Moment from current campaign: The look of shock when the Statue of Ozedalf fell into the ether. It was sad and also fantastic to witness.
Favorite thing about DM? He’s a great friend, colleague and DM. His dedication to his craft as a DM is an trait worthy of praise.
Other hobbies: Song leading and Bible studies preoccupy most of my time.
Favorite Movies: Dune, Ender's Game, LoTR
Favorite books and comics: Wheel of Time, Stormlight Archive, Sword of Truth, Mistborn
Favorite Music: Metallica, Acapella 4 part harmony, Lindsey Stirling
Final thoughts that you want to share with our viewers: I am a Christian, Husband, & Father… in that order.

Jeff
Current Character Name: Justinian Brander
How did you first get introduced to Tabletop RPGs: I was twelve years old and ran into a group of teenagers playing at the town Library after school. I started playing a halfling rogue and I was hooked. I started DMing by the time I was seventeen.
Favorite Character that you have played: I played an orc rogue/ barbarian combo named Jarko once. He was such a blast because he was so different than what I normally lean into. No charisma, intelligence, or wisdom. I rolled three high stats and had two 8s and a 10 left to work with.
Favorite DND Class/ Build: I love charismatic characters: Bards, Rouges, Sorcerers, and Warlocks. My favorite build was an Arcane Trickster Rogue/ Lore Bard combo under the 2014 rules.
What is one character that I have never played but would love to: I have always wanted to play a character that has either done an evil act or was complacent in a tragedy and is trying to atone.
Other RPGs that you have played: Grifts, Role Master, Vampire the Masquerade
Why I love being a member of 7D: Collaborative story telling was my main draw in playing tabletop RPGs. While battles are exciting, I am more interested in finding out who the characters are and how they grow and develop as they discover the world around them.
Favorite Character Moment from current campaign: Justinian feeling like he had to choose between defending Ifritar and honoring their deal or defending the party.
Favorite thing about DM? Drasten works well with developing situations where the party can shine at skills and roleplaying, not just hack and slash everything in our path.
Other hobbies: action figure collecting, Renn Faire, watching movies.
Favorite Movies: Jason Mamoa’s Conan, Beastmaster, Constantine. Empire Records, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Repo the Genetic Opera.
Favorite books and comics: I love reading about various religions and war histories. I love Hellblazier, Swamp Thing, Werewolf by Night, and Doctor Strange.
Favorite Music: Black Label Society, Motorhead, Hoozier, Taylor Swift
Final thoughts that you want to share with our viewers: The most important thing about DND also applies to life, if you are not enjoying what you are doing, it is either not for you or it is your mindset. Don’t steal other people’s joy because you can’t find your own.
